In the distinguished ‘Madrid de los Austrias’ runs the historic ‘Calle del Prado’, which leads to ‘Plaza de las Cortes’, where some of the most emblematic Madrid luxury hotels are located, as well as the ‘Palacio de Las Cortes’ (Congress of Deputies), which gives its name to the square.

 

Without a doubt, it is currently one of the most sought after enclaves, after the renovation of Madrid Centre and especially of the iconic ‘Plaza de Canalejas’, from which it is just a short walk of only a few minutes.

 

In addition, some of its eminent neighbors are the three Great Museums of Madrid: ‘Prado’, ‘Thyssen-Bornemisza’ and ‘Reina Sofía’, which makes of this area of our capital one of the most interesting ones from a monumental and cultural point of view.

 

However, the tranquility that is breathed inside our apartment contrasts to the life that runs around it.

 

A superb interior design project has turned the property into an elegant and modern apartment that combines the lordship of the neighborhood – reflected in the height of its ceilings and in elements with great character such as the beams or the fireplace – with a contemporary and eclectic style that make of it an extremely attractive and comfortable home.

 

The large number of windows throughout the place is amazing, which provides abundant natural light and excellent ventilation.

 

The social area is presented as a large open space where, however, its three environments have been differentiated: living room, kitchen and dining room, so that guests can enjoy of maximum space and privacy at the same time.

 

A modern iron and glass screen creates a small entrance hall, precisely to preserve the privacy of the tenants, and anticipates the originality and design of the apartment.

 

Firstly, we are greeted by a beautiful living room, with a distinguished decorative fireplace in the background – flanked by imposing mirrors that add great depth to this room – creating a division with the next space, in which the kitchen and dining room are located.

 

The bright kitchen has been equipped with high-capacity furniture, a wide variety of kitchenware and all kinds of large and small appliances (including dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer). In addition, it features a practical bar with four stools, very convenient for breakfasts and quick meals.

 

A cozy dining room is located at one end, offering a very pleasant space for family meals or for work times.

 

Next, a small hall, equipped with a fitted wardrobe with a mirrored front, leads to the two superb suites, at opposite ends for greater privacy.

 

Both have been equipped with king-size beds (180×200), which could be replaced by single beds on request, and boast chests under the mattresses, which is very practical for storing suitcases or large stuff. In addition, they feature large built-in wardrobes and Smart 43” TV’s. Each suite comes complete with a modern and spacious bathroom (one doted of a bathtub and of a shower the second one).

 

Noble materials, rich fabrics and pieces of furniture of very original design, make of this property a sophisticated and very exclusive apartment, prepared for the most demanding of clients.

 

Its location is very attractive, having an excellent public transport service in the vicinity, with several Metro stations within a short walk (‘Sevilla’, ‘Antón Martín’ and ‘Banco de España’) as well as numerous bus lines that connect with the rest of the capital’s districts, including the Salamanca neighborhood, which is quickly accessed by bus in a beautiful 15-minute run.

 

A wide variety of bars and restaurants, original shops of all kinds, health & beauty centers … dot the surroundings offering a whole world of possibilities without leaving the neighborhood.
